WHY HAVE I BEEN INVITED?
You have been invited to complete the survey, because you are a person over the age of 15 living with HIV in the UK. We invite you to share your unique experience and contribute to the knowledge around how stigma and discrimination affect the lives of people living with HIV.
HOW DO I TAKE PART?
You can take part using any device with internet access (such as a smart phone or laptop). The survey takes about 15 minutes to complete, but it may take more or less time for some people. You are not able to log out of the survey and come back later to complete it, you need to complete all questions in one session. The survey asks some sensitive questions.
When you complete the survey click submit and close the browser window. At the end of the survey you will be invited to enter a competition to win a smart phone. Please note the study will be closing on World Aids Day 2019 1st December.
WHY SHOULD I TAKE PART?
Data from this study will provide valuable insights into the burden and types of stigma and discrimination directly experienced by people living with HIV in the UK and provide specific information on the situations in which stigma was experienced to inform interventions to reduce stigma for people living with HIV.
At the end of the survey, you will be invited to enter a prize draw to win a smart phone. To enter you must provide an email address or phone number for us to contact you if you win. Contact details will be used for the prize draw ONLY, and will NOT be linked to your survey responses.
Winners will be randomly selected from eligible entries at the end of the study period.
Winners will be informed by 10th December 2019.
Multiple entries will be disqualified.
